The former BYU star and consensus National Player of the Year spent more than a decade playing professionally across the world.

Jimmer Fredette has a career arc unlike anybody else. A former BYU standout who became an NBA lottery pick, he went on to be a massive star in China, then transitioned into being one of the top 3x3 players in the world and an Olympian.

Jimmer Fredette, the 2011 Associated Press men’s college basketball player of the year who went on to become an NBA lottery pick and then played for the U.S. in 3x3 at last year’s Paris Olympics, has announced his retirement.
