The Boston doctor who strangled his wife and dumped her body in a pond during a night of drinking in 2020 broke down and cried when he was convicted to the disgust of his in-laws.

Massachusetts surgeon Ingolf Tuerk broke down in tears after being found guilty of voluntary manslaughter over the murder of his 45-year-old Kathleen McLean in May 2020.

While the prosecution sought a conviction on the charge of first-degree murder, the jury convicted Tuerk of the lesser included charge of voluntary manslaughter.
