Two $1 million Powerball prizes capped off a lucky weekend for Georgia lottery players. Two tickets sold in the Peach State matched five numbers but not the Powerball in the March 29 drawing, narrowly missing the estimated $527 million jackpot, the Georgia Lottery said. Other players scored $150,000 and $50,000 prizes, results show.
The lucky players hit the Fantasy 5 jackpot, each winning $820,337 after matching five numbers in the March 19 drawing, the Georgia Lottery said. One of the winning tickets was sold at the Sandfly Convenience store in Savannah, and the other at the Roswell Road Food Mart in Marietta, according to the lottery.
